Hello,

I spent ages creating a forum for an education charity, something we were trialling before going live. Unfortunately, no one can find it.

Also, it seems my ignorance is getting in the way of supporting the site as I cannot seem to log-in to the relevant area to see what's going on either.

Please help: I am not what you could call an expert, I merely 'have a go' and use oodles of common sense. This took me ages to create and I simply cannot understand what's going on as I though we were obeying all your rules.

Please advise - although there aren't that many of us yet, we really need to look to start testing this forum this year.

As we were testing it, I hadn't even taken any back-ups of the site, so I REALLY need to get it back. Please, PLEASE help!

Thank you.

Steve.

PS The following is all the 'Technical' Detail I had amassed ... but little of it seems to be of any use:-

Hello Boss,

Thank you for taking the time to respond.

My problem is precisely THAT! No web-site!

I had a phpBB3-based forum for my education charity up and running at this address with a few posts. I logged in just before Christmas to check on it, as I believed I was supposed to, but now it's gone.

I was only logging in now to ensure my once a month criteria was fulfilled.

As it stands, I cannot log into my Control Panel to 'administer' it, or see what's going on, collect messages, or whatnot, and I've had no eMails indicating it's suspended or cancelled or deleted or whatever.

As I'm a relative newbie at this, I had not yet taken any backups ... and it took me ages to get working! AGES!

To be honest, I've tried logging in with all sorts of credentials, all over X10Hosting's site, but can only seem to 'get in' to this forum.

I am completely lost and do not know where to turn!

Thank you,

Steve.

Probably your account is terminated due to inactivity.

Note that cpanel and account panel logins not counted as your activity.
You have to Login Here on forums once 31 days to keep your account active...

Wait for staff member. They can better tell you what had done with your account..

Thanks ... but I was genuinely certain I was logging in! I'd been reminded this was a requirement (I missed it on the original T's & C's - like I said, I'm a novice!).

I really hope this can be remedied given the time I spent learning and doing this stuff ... so much so that I don't even mind being charged some reasonable 're-connection' fee to get the old site / domain back!

Ah well ...

By-the-way, how long does it usually take to have someone from X10 to respond? I'm only asking as I was about to demonstrate what I'd achieved to one of the charity members tomorrow afternoon, that's all.

Once again, thanks.
