I can not get my website to show and it is placed in public_html/ad

Where is it placed? It looks like the file path that you put in your post title got cut off. Otherwise, you'll need to set a redirect from your root directory to your site, or move everything up directories to open from the root (inside public_html with the index page not in a subdirectory). Also, make sure that the main page that loads when you go to your site has the file name of index with a lowercase i so that it opens right up when you go to your site's url.
