I can't login to cPanel

I'm having problems logging into cPanel. I first forgot my password, so I reset it, and waited a week, when I tried to login to cPanel with the new password I got a message saying 'Login Attempt Failed.' I even typed out the password in TextEdit and pasted it into the Account Panel and then pasted it into the cPanel login window and it still didn't work.
