I bought my domain from somewhere else, and am hosting my files on X10 (as I am doing since more than 2 years now)

I had Google Apps settled up with my domain, however, when I changed their nameservers values, my Google Apps email stopped receiving any email. Probably because the MX records got modified.

I have corrected them, but it looks like the change hasn't propagated well enough, because I still can't see google servers in my domain's MX records.

Do I need to do anything with my account at X10hosting as well?
Will I have to adjust my X10 account too, for getting my Google Apps email working (Which is very important for me)

Please assist, I am not used to server/domain/hosting configurations.

Thanks,
Aman

zauberkraft shows as your main domain. If that is the domain you are talking about, you need to go to

cPanel
Mail --> MX Entry
Adjust the entries per the instructions on Google Apps.

Yes!
Thank you!
I could locate it that way, and could also locate TXT records.

However, I have following issues:
  • Google asks me to pt ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. with the (.) in the end, while MX entries in X10 is not allowing me to put a trailing dot. How to proceed?
  • I do not understand which option to select in 'Email Routing' . I currently have changed it to "Auto" is that correct?
Thanks for the assistance so far, please assist me with this as well

1. Leave off the trailing period. cPanel seems to compensate
2. 'auto' is how my domain is set up (I use SMTP in scripts to send mail out thru Google too) and that works fine.
