I Just Setup A New Mybb Forum Having A Problem Posting On It

I just setup a mybb forum on my account when I try to post a thread with 6 to 8 links I get this error what is up??

You don't have permission to access /mybb/newthread.php on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

When I post a all text thread I do not get a error. Did x10 set some type of spam protection that will not allow to make a post on my forum with a few links in it??

You've hit the nail on the head. There is a mod_security rule in place preventing more than three links at a time. It can be lifted on request, but that may not be a good idea if it's something you can work around and you're running a public forum, since that puts you firmly on the hook for monitoring/moderating user content - and if a test shows your site to be a god place to put a forest of links, you're pretty much guaranteed to be a target. That can easily lead to suspension if you don't stay on top of things.

It may be easier to just split your content when necessary, but it's your call.

Can the limit for my account be upgraded for like 8 to 10 links email for the account is DJboutit10@Aol.com
