I keep being logged out

After the mess that happened after you changed your servers, I have now changed from Prestashop to Opencart.
Now I am being logged out every two minutes. I can't build my site when I'm constantly being logged out.
My son has changed the php.ini: default setting:
session.gc_maxlifetime = 12000000;
to session.gc_maxlifetime = 60000000;
but it's made no difference I am still logged out after a minute or two.
Please help!

Check you cookie settings, they could be set wrong.

Thank you for your help.
I cleared out all my cookies (i guess this is what you meant). and I was able to stay in for about half an hour.
Today though, its exactly the same. I keep being logged out after just a minute or so, or even 30 seconds. Any other suggestions please?

I didn't mean that. I meant check the cookie settings for your website.

Thank you. I got my son to change the cookie settings and I can stay logged in for a long time. Unfortunately, can't log in at all today as your site isn't working. All I'm getting is: 500 Internal Server Error, but that's for another time.
