Alright I currently own an Age of Empires based forums and I want to have an area on my forums for members to be able to post their game recordings in attachments so others can view and comment on them but the problem is that the maximum file uploading size is 128kb while an average game size can range from 500k-800k.

Is there ANY way possible that my file upload size can be increased or find another way around this? I would honestly pay except that I am a kid without a paypal account or a bank account :/

SMF's default maximum upload is 128kb apparently; not sure why, can't do much with 128kb if you have attachments enabled anyways.

@mblank8350: head to Admin > Attachments and Avatars, and change the limit. Hopefully it hasn't moved since 2007 (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=204839.0 is my source), but if it has it'll be in the admin panel /somewhere/ for sure.

The last I checked, the max file size that you can upload is ~2048KB (2MB). Just keep that in mind when you change the attachment size.

Actually, (on Boru at least) the PHP upload limit is 16M, using ini_get('upload_max_filesize') and http://x10hosting.com/free-hosting-comparison
