Can you please be more specific on requirements.
The oneliners generally prolong the discussion and the time between posts could be large aswell.
Hence the responders can help you more correctly if your requirements are explained a bit more eloborately than just a one liner.

May be if you want your databse updates to sent to your mail. You can use cron jobs, It send mails with new database entries.
