HI, I need a Red-5 hosting with audio video streaming support for a flash visichat site. Can x10 give me this support? I want to know about price and service. Or please tell me which server is suitable for me?

Hello,

As long as you stay within the TOS it can be done on a VPS. However we do not support any third party installation, configuration or troubleshooting.

All VPS's are unmanaged, which means that all we support is getting it online, and keeping it online. Additional software other then one of the linux operating systems offered during sign up, you will have to install and configure yourself.

Knowledge about Linux and managing that over SSH is necessary to successfully maintain a VPS.

You will need at least the 5x package for vps and / or reduce the memory usage for java.

If you do not have enough memory it will fail miserably.

THere are lots of how2 guides for centos/debian if you do a quick search you might even find an install.sh that will install and configure red5 + depemndencies for you.
