You should add the domain as a parked domain, that will mean your whole site will respond to it. Please note name server changes can take upto 72 hours to replicate around the internet.

A parked domain works just like the root address. ( Hence, why its called parked and not Add-on )

Please don't order the staff to do this or that in any of the software.

I am curious if you have even tried to park the domain via Cpanel before ordering the staff to change it in WHM?

Okay. I am a little confused. How does adding a parked domain change where your files are loaded? When you put your domain name you wish to use in Parked Domain, it changes the subdomain you currently are using to the domain you added. Your new domain will then point to the same website your sub-domain did.

This does not need changed in WHM nor does it have anything to do with where your files are located. That would only matter if you used an add-on domain.

alhob, firstly you specifically ignored my signature which said NOT to send me a personal message unless requested, so that makes me annoyed

secondly, parking domains is like an alias, it changes nothing about your site.. If you did it as an addon domain that would be why you feel it needs to be moved. If thats the case, remove it, wait about 30 minutes, add is as parked as originally instructed
