I bought a .us domain from GoDaddy and I set up the Nameservers and redid every step 10 times over from this page https://x10hosting.com/wiki/How_to_Use_Your_Own_Domain but I can't seem to get x10 to recognize it. I keep getting this error:

Unable to add the domain name − Unable to create addon domain. Please verify that it has been set to the proper DNS name servers.

I really don't know what to do at this point as I am simply puzzled.

What is the domain you are trying to add? How long ago did you set up the name servers, propagation can cause a bit delay before our servers see that the domain is using our name servers.
Also, are you using x10 basic or the fill cPanel x3 theme? I've heard some issues prior about setting addon domains in x10 Basic, but it was a good while since I saw someone have a problem with that so I was thinking it was solved by now, but maybe it isn't.

I set up the nameservers a couple hours ago and I've tried using both x10 basic and cpanel.
The domain I'm trying to add is chuckspecialforces.us

As of right now, both show that GoDaddy has not changed the settings. The nameservers coming up are theirs, not x10hosting's.
