Hah you beat me to it; someone check out the official final release of IE7 and tell me if it has a good integrated FTP. The only time I use IE6 is for FTP.. otherwise I use FireFox (I've gotten sick of the FireFTP FF extension; IE6 is just much nicer when it comes to FTP!)

By the way, if you don't want Yahoo toolbar and a bunch of that other junk, don't DL from that link monky posted (or make sure to do a custom install)

Direct link to the MS page is here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspx?mg_ID=10010

WHy don't you directly use some FTP program like the free smartftp rather than using IE?

Why use something else that will consume space when what I have already works?

But yeah, if anybody has downloaded the new IE7, please take some screenshots or something of the new FTP (if it can)

ewww IE...

:p sorry, I just dont like IE much. Security is crap, people are allways trying to find holes. So I stick to other browsers. :)

Hmm... I wonder if IE7 will succeed where all previous verions have failed.

For my part I use Opera most of the time. Though when some site doesn't work I'll switch to Firefox.

meh, I'll just continue to use firefox. I have always had so many problems with IE in not only security, but some pages I have been to in the past have refused to work in IE. I only use IE if is a life or death situation... rarely if ever :p

Hate IE, so cluncky. you can't customize it (I don't know about IE7) and it's not portable like firefox. I feel so insecure when using it so I make sure I always have firefox in my flash drive. Thank goodness for techtv. that's where i first met good old phoenix/firebird/firefox

With IE 7, you need to restart TWICE in order to install it. And it uses too much memory. I conducted a memory test myself with Firefox, Opera and Internet Explorer 7. All 3 were opened to the same tabs and had just recently started. I used the Task Manager to count the VM Size (EDIT: Whoops.)

I haven't tried it and I see no reason to.

Firefox 2 is working perfectly for me.

Plus, my main OS is Ubuntu and Internet Explorer 7 is only for Windows.
