It told me to restart, but worked anyway :p

Still looks awful with some windowBlinds themes.

The "omg IE7 virus" is just something left over from IE6 that wasn't patched, so affects both.

I'm now going to remove WGA, since I'm pretty sure it got installed without my permission.

Microsoft is #1 at installing stuff that you don't want and/or need. I mean a good portion of the services on startup are things used to track user activity, yet it's not concidered spyware.

With IE 7, you need to restart TWICE in order to install it. And it uses too much memory. I conducted a memory test myself with Firefox, Opera and Internet Explorer 7. All 3 were opened to the same tabs and had just recently started. I used the Task Manager to count the VM Size (EDIT: Whoops.)

101 processes?! Crikey. I'm not even an Aussie and I'm saying crikey. I run only 27.. with AVG off I run only 25.. learn how to use run>msconfig ;)

By the way, I got dibs on the thread "FIREFOX 2 RELEASED!!!" when Firefox 2 is officially released (Tuesday the 24th)

You actually prefer IE7? Try Firefox for a day.. I'll tell you some great extensions to use that will help cut down on your browsing time too. You'll be convinced; I was.

Unfortunatly, Firefox would get my vote if not for the bookmarks suddenly dissapearing every couple of weeks. And of someone who browses the web daily and bookmarks 10-30 sites a day, Firefox sucks.

So, Opera gets my vote!

IE7 is a highly recommended update. It has many new features regarding less usability of time and some great improvements in security. IE7 is no doubt much improved than it's predecessors.

I don't know about you but it runs perfectly on my computer. One day IE will be the most:
-secure
-faster
-easy to use
-reliable
web browser on the web.

Yeah, within less than 24 hours of its initial release, people already found security holes in it. Don't download it, get Firefox instead.

Lol, disappearing bookmarks? That's new. It happened to me in one of the beta test versions of IE7, but never in Firefox
