Im building halo armor!

Okay so I was bored one night and I started to look up how to build Master Chief armor on the internet, now ur gunna call me a freaking nerd but I actually found out how at this website:

Click on forums then go to armor making then go to pepakura for what im doing....
Anyway its really cool cuz its paper based but it turns out really solid and hard at the end (go check out the tuts...). Anyway so I have started to build it and Right now I have cut out all the pieces and have started gluing the helmet together... Ill be posting in this topic with pics on how its going later Yes im a freaking nerd but w/e...

it costs about 60 dollars to make and yes it will look like the real armor + or - cheesy ness on the paint job...

I know it looks cheesy now, but that helmet will look better after a coat of paint and some resin...

A friend of mine made one out of cardboard for Halloween. It was quite interesting to see him walking around covered with cardboard XD

actually no, but the site that has all of the tuts on how to do it and forums to provide support is trying to become sponsered by bungie... Oh btw, I just finished gluing together the chestplate, pictures to follow soon ;P

yea Im still working on bondoing it, progress has been slow with rainy weather and school...
