I tried to install a script and my efforts failed.

I have since deleted everything in relation to the attempted script install.

I was getting a 403 Error but am now am getting a No Page to display message in my browser.

I currently have Intermediate PHP Configuration.

Is it possible to reset or delete everything and start over?

I made my first sale yesterday before all this started and now I'm dead in the water.

What should I do???

Thanks,

Jeff Walters

If you get 403, it means you deleted your htaccess file I believe.. o.o.. Ask Corey/Account manager to make a new one for you o.o

Or just do a empty .htaccess I guess. In my .htaccess there is only the things I have configured.

It is probably NOT an htaccess error.

FOLLOW THIS: It'll work.
How do I use chmod in cPanel?
In the cPanel File Manager, you can see all the permissions in numeric format for all your files and folders. For folders, it's simply the only thing all the way to the right on the same line as the folder name. For files, you will see both the file size and the file permissions, in that order, to the right of the file name on the same line.

To chmod a file:

1. Click on the file's name.
2. Click "change permissions" in the top right box on the page.
3. In the top right box, you will get a bunch of checkboxes grouped by the type of permission as rows and who gets that permission as columns. eyeglasses ©ejm Check the boxes for the type of permissions you want each section to have. The sections are labeled "user" (this is you, the owner), "group", and "world".
4. Click the "Submit" button.

The file will now have the permissions you filled in.
Note: Do not fill in the numbers by hand in their boxes. This is because the File Manager only uses the checkboxes to set the permissions; it will not change those checkboxes if you type a number into the permission fields.

NOTE: You want to change the permissions to read/execute for all users. Otherwise, you WILL get a 403 page.

Sounds like you might have deleted your public_html folder.

You can either try re-creating it or post back here stating you understand you will lose all files and we can terminate your account so you can sign up again.

Corey,

I have weighed the options and my choice is to have my account deleted and sign up again.

That way I am starting with a clean slate, so to speak.

So go ahead and delete it and I'll start over.

Thanks,

Jeff Walters

Thanks Corey,

I'm going to reregister now.

Edit:
Corey,

I have reregistered, but I can't login to cPanel.

You might have to try registering one more time, the /var partition was full from the cPanel update I did causing it to only partially create accounts. I removed the partial creation.

Go here first: http://x10hosting.com/logout

Sorry!

Corey,

I still can't login to cPanel.

Sorry for the trouble.

Jeff
Edit:
Corey,

I just wanted to let you know I can now login to cPanel so I am going to close this thread.

Thanks for all your help.
