I did add "%" as wildcard to allow external access. However, I'm unable to connect. Would you mind giving me the proper data to login? Can't seem to get it working.

Thanks.

If you are trying to connect from your own computer at home, it won't work, remote mysql is disabled on free hosting.

If you are trying to connect from a script uploaded to your account, please make sure that you create and link a user to your database under MySQL databases in cPanel.

define pls

For security reason Remote MySql is disabled on free hosting.

That means you can't connect to mysql on the server from outside(Ex:- From your computer)

However the script on the server can access the mysql by referring it as localhost.

To make the script on server to connect to Database, you have to create a database first and then create a database user and associate both of them by giving full permissions.

Check the procedure here
