I was wondering if it is acceptable if I had a site that had pictures of my video game collection

I guess it would depend in some ways the detail you posted those pictures in, if you showed piles of videos with spines visible so they can be seen, I would imagine that should be OK, however you should remember that the covers of video games are covered by copyright and you arent allowed to reproduce them without permission.

What if I take pictures of the cases or If have links to wikipedia about the games.
