Images and CSS not loading

my domain is magicwands.co.cc and I use the free hosting, I have recreated the site and am trying to reload it but the images and all my styles like css etc are not loading nor is all the pages - please can some one look to see if it is something I am doing wrong in file or folder naming etc or if I am doing something else wrong - at my wits end with it

The only image Page Info is showing has an incorrect path; it's trying to load magicwands.co.cc/public_html/_images/blahblahblahblahblah

Public_html is not needed in your path. It should just be magicwands.co.cc/_images, so if you hand-coded it, take the public_html/ out of your css and image paths.

I tried changing the path - think I did it right but it is still not loading

I have tried deleting the whole site and reloading - I am using Dreamweaver CS5 if that help - I have recreated the site and changed the folder structure but it is still not loading - I really don't know what I am doing wrong

I have also tried enabling and disabling hotlinks - still the images and css wont load

To be honest all I can think is the images aren't getting uploaded, cause it looks like the link itself is formed right.


Edit: Scratch that, the files are there, now it's gunna be a challenge and a half :S

Edit 2: Found it; your images folder isn't in public_html so it can't access the images. Head into FTP, back up one folder higher than public_html, and move the images folder into public_html

Hello,

I have fixed the index.html , you was using image location as "/public_html/images" everywhere in all files. it should be "/images". Please change the images paths in other files.

Hey thanks for all the replies

I am using dreamweaver so I set up folders now I have to set up a public_html folder where I save my pages- now when I create an images folder should it be inside or outside the public_html folder - because this is where the paths are set I think - not sure very confused at the moment.

Because if I create the images folder inside dreamweaver creates this path D:\magicwands.co.cc\public_html\images

and where should my spry assests folder and css be

and none of my links seem to be working - I just don't get what is happening cause I have set this up exactly as I had it before and it worked then

Ok, thanks guys I found the problem I had site root selected instead of document in dreamweaver so it is all loading now

except for

the index page in internet explore 8, it is just blank but if I put the url for another page like http://magicwands.co.cc/corporate.html it goes in but when I click on the home page it is just blank - but firefox is working 100% -


Please can some one help as I have no idea why it is happening
