The images on my website have stopped working? I end up getting a 403 forbidden error.

I check "hotlink" protection in cpanel and it is disabled..
I check permissions and the directories are set at 755 and the files are set to 644 that should be correct?

In any case, they worked before a recent account suspension. I have un-suspended the account and now they are not working. Not sure if the suspension caused the error or if it was just a coincidence but I don't think any other changes have been made.

Here is an example of an image link that is no longer working.

The issue is soemthing in the .htaccess inside your main public_html (not the one in the wealthdesigners.ca subfolder); when renaming public_html/.htaccess to public_html/.htaccess.bak, the uploaded images begin working, but as soon as that is renamed back, they stop. Unfortunately I personally am not that good with .htaccess files so I'm not sure on what the actual cause of this is (as in, which part of the .htaccess file is causing it), but this should help at least narrow down the possibilities. Have you made any changes to the public_html's .htaccess recently, or installed any software that may have changed it?

Thanks for you help, I did install a script that looks like it was blocking images in "uploads" directory. I uninstalled the offending script from the main directory and reinstalled in a temp directory and all is working. Thanks for your help.
