Firstly, I am stressed so please excuse any short grumblings and/or random angry!caps lock but this is REALLY annoying.

I have battled with the ftp client forever (srsly what the hell is this ftp client born from Satan's vag? never have I had to work so hard to connect to my ftp account..) and finally got it working...

Uploaded my handy dandy files all neatly placed in their directory. The page renders juuuuust fine. HOWEVER, for a reason only known to the universe which clearly has is pissed at me for whatever reason, none of my damn images show up. No, I'm not an idiot.. All folders are uploaded under the public_html directory as they should be.

I even went as far to ensure I changed the permissions for the directory (and then each file) to 777 and 757 and they still won't show up. WHAT THE HELL GIVES???? I mean I know I'm on the free account but dang...

Someone please help, thank you.

When I try to load one of your png directly, it comes up as a broken image.

Are you sure you uploaded them via FTP in binary mode? text or ascii mode will break images.

Files should be 0644 (rw-r--r--) and folders 0755 (rwxr-xr-x)

The server will throw errors with any permissions set to "777"

what is the URL that is not showing images ?

Yes, I know.. that's the issue I am also having. I have uploaded them in binary mode as well, same thing. It's really weird because this has never happened to me with any other web hosting site. I have my own domain on a diff server, and I tried to upload them there and they were visible. It is only happening with x10's servers.

I just checked the ones you re-uploaded and they display fine for me.

Try clearing your browser cache and history to get rid of locally stored busted images.

23.png is a Lakers cap with a leopard bill.

Hey thank you! I solved the problem actually... In Firefox, the directory stated that it was due to a PHP error. So I closed FileZilla, and reopened it and found out that for some odd reason there were a bunch of php directories which looked like partially downloaded scripts that I had never downloaded... I deleted all of them and things worked fine.

If there are any x10 people floating around here, it might be something you guys want to look at.

Thanks everyone for your input!
