Before anyone yells at me, yes, I did do a search AND poked the wiki. No, my question wasn't answered.
I am attempting to setup Thunderbird to access my email accounts for a free hosting account here at x10. I would prefer to use SSL if possible.
Using the information given to me under the "Configure Email Clients" page from the CPanel, Thunderbird reports that the connection was refused every time I attempt to login.
INCOMING MAIL CONFIGURATION:
Server: xstarka.x10hosting.com
Port: Um.. 143?
Username: login+mydomain
Password: password assigned to email account from cpanel
Connection Type: SSL/TLS
Authentication Method: Normal password
OUTGOING MAIL:
Server: xstarka.x10hosting.com
Port: 465
User: login+mydomain
Authentication: normal password
Connection type: SSL/TLS
