Important Trophy Message?

If I understand this the forum told me to post a message to get a free trophy or something? So I am doing this merely to see why?

i really don't understand it either.it seems that the free trophy is a carrot to get the forum ball moving, but (i would like to think)
that you only post something that is interesting rather than post because you have to.
i don't do social media either as i don't want to post inane details about day to day nothingness.

The trophy system is not here to force you to post on the board, it was only another way to show the forum stats.
More you post, more trophy you get, but not forced at all.
