Hi,

First of all, thanks for your hosting. I'd like to give you a suggestion :

Improve your back-end pages.

What I means is when a user want to look for is settings, or want to look why is web site is down (happen only a few specific time (at migration, at servers updates...), it's kind of complicated.

You have to look at different places :

x10hosting.com to log as user
server.x10hosting.com:2082 for files and database
x10hosting.com/forums for tickets and to try to find servers status that are posts
there's a client area also to put "official" tickets or to buy and option for your hosting plant

May you develop a ONE log in that lets us navigate all the services at the same place? A one central place.

Also, as I'm helping several friends with their own web site, that aren't all that good with computer. A central web portal with be very helpful for a lot of people as they also maintain their own web page... and also for me as they generally only need a help to found where to go to check that check box that will do what they want.

Hello.

At Account Panel, http://x10hosting.com/control, it shows the latest news/updates posts on the front page without having to visit the forum. In addition, you can also open new forum threads/tickets directly from the Account Panel without having to come to the forums. Free hosting escalated tickets are also managed through this same Account Panel.
The only requirement to ever visit /forums/ is to login once every 31 days to keep the account active.

The clients area panel is just for Premium Hosting users only.

I don't think its possible or would be very difficult to develop something within cPanel due to its closed source infrastructure. Unlike the Account Panel, cPanel is made by a third party.

Technically, it would probably be possible to have the same login for both cPanel and everything else, but cPanel has a 8 character username limit, and that would greatly reduce the number of possibilities for forum accounts. In addition, some people wouldn't want to have their cPanel username made public.

I do understand you point. It's true that the x10hosting.com/controls have received a lot of improvement over the last few years. In fact, I think my request is more as: don't stop now; you’re on the right direction.

You already have: home - Account - hosting - support
Maybe you can had: buy option - link to the knowledgebase (or included in the same presentation) -

To have at least all info we can found there: http://x10hosting.com/forums/news-announcements/27011-x10-getting-started.html

But in an more intuitive way (just the little polish it deserve for new client)
