Inability to do anything

Hello to everybody,

this is absolutely my first post here and I am forced to do so as I looked for a solution to my problem and could not find anything. Maybe it is server-related.

I have just created the Free Hosting account. I read that "it may take up to one hour to create the account" and I waited for this time... I received the activation email so I suppose I can jump in the FTP and install my site...
The problem is:

I log to the cPanel, do the Getting Started Wizard and get the following error while creating the email account:

The disk write test failed. You may have exceeded your quota, or the disk is full

Of course, not having done anything, the quota/full problem is ininfluent. What should I do? I cannot create FTP accounts, browse files nor I can do anything else. Is there some "set-up" step I am missing?
