Inactivity Clarification

I recently created a site on x10 and have been pleased with what your site offers and delivers. I understand that I need to login to my control panel once a month in order to be considered active. However, I have noticed in several of the discussions that I had to use https://x10hosting.com/sso/index.php/login to access the login procedure. Is there a way to inadvertently access my control panel without going through that login page?

Once I login to my CP am I required to do anything or is just logging in and then closing out the CP page adequate?

Also, if I might be so bold, may I ask the powers that be if it would be possible to consider ftp activity (which requires a login) to be considered towards activity recognition?

The ONLY login that counts is if you log in through the https://x10hosting.com/sso/login page -- other logins such as FTP, forum, or direct cPanel logins will not count (yes it is possible to log into your cPanel without going through that page, however if you were to do that, it would not count towards the inactivity timer). Simply logging into the page I linked is all that you need to do.

Would it be possible for the inactivity checking code to be moved into the cPanel login page? I find {domain}:2082 more convenient than remembering that address.

Sorry, but no -- we are very limited in how we can hook into cPanel (and even more limited hooking into other means of logging in such as FTP). It would not be worth the development effort to move the inactivity code over there if it were even possible to do that when we have a working system already. As far as remembering addresses goes, it's actually easier to get to the current page -- just go to x10hosting.com and click the sign in link on the top right.
