index.html not showing up

My site is www.metadatafactory.com, which is hosted on stoli. I have ftpped my index.html file in the public_html folder. When I go to my url, if still goes to http://www.metadatafactory.com/cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi page.
How do I ensure that it goes to my index.html page directly. I have done a \"DNS flush\" and set permission to index.html to 777.

Please clear your browser cache with all the tabs closed.
Permissions of files and folders should be 644 and 755 respectively.

Thanks MaestroFX1...it worked... except that it is not showing the images from the "images" folder. I set the permission as you directed, but no luck.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

Got it figured out.. some permissions issue with the css file... all good now... Thanks.
