Index/updates not showing

think i've checked ok, the cpanel does not show it's down
there arn't any answers to this in the forums

so before today my index was showing (only an index on site currently)
then i uploaded after making a few text changes, and now all pages are not showing. they are on the server mind.

i've refreshed, and flushed my cache. even then, this would only show the old page. all indexes have gone from the browser when the url is entered.

any help? most greatful.
