from past experience I can say that there is at least one AV for both linex (deb/rpm) and mac os. for linux (not that you need it) you have http://free.avg.com/gb-en/download.prd-afl and for mac os you can get http://www.symantec.com/norton/macintosh/antivirus

I cant see this working out. If they made people switch to mcafee then facebook would loose a lot of their traffic which would decrease their revenue by around 95% due to the fact that 95% of people dont use mcafee.

Regardless this would take a huge toll on their revenue of ads and therefore would not be a smart buisness plan which facebook seems to know a lot about.
