Install buddypress and wordpress, by ftp

I wonder if x10hosting allows buddypress to be installed?
And I would also like to know, if I can install wordpress, by ftp?

As far as I know, you can install BuddyPress; it's just the content that matters and you are responsible for this. For this reason, you should read over the Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy linked at the bottom of this page.
You can certainly install WordPress by FTP. You can either upload the files individually or upload the zip/tar.gz and extract it using the File Manager.
You can also install it with the Softaculous Apps Installer in cPanel.
