Heh, ATI has super overpriced video cards, intel has only brought pain to video cards. It's nVida all the way. Same with motherboards, tests have been run that show nVida motherboards work better with Intel CPUs than Intel's motherboards do. Now that is amusing.

I think that u're wrong coz AMD-ATI products are budget friendly while Nvidia products are being overpriced, i'm sick of the 8800 coz this product is getting old ans still have no replacement while ati is introducing some interesting new line of products the 38xx series which in my opinion makes a great combination when used with a high end Intel CPU better than Nvidia.
Meanwhile AMD still without a high end product to defeat the new penryn provided by Intel .

The 8800 GTS 512mb (G92; not the old G80 version which was available in 320mb and 640mb) was released on December 10th and you're wanting a replacement already? From what I'm reading online, the NVIDIA 9800 GX2 is being released this month!

I still prefer NVIDIA for their superior Linux support.
