Cannot access website (mortonhalltennis.org.uk) - getting an internal server error 500. There have been no changes to the website to cause this. Permissions on index.php were found to be completely open when should be restricted. No idea how these permissions have been changed. Looks like a number of other files have also become unrestricted.

Can you help?

Thanks

It could be a glitch caused by account transfers from lotus to the new hardware. It looks like apache is down on lotus for now, so I would wait until the new hardware is up and running and see if there is still an issue.

Still having issues with the site - currently showing offline and can't get admin access. Would really like to get this resolved as quickly as possible.

Thanks

Still no joy with website - now getting the following message: The mysql error was: Lost connection to MySQL server at 'reading initial communication packet', system error: 111.

I've updated connection settings in settings.php file, and have added int.fris... as an access host as suggested for MySQL problems post migration. But still no web site.

Through C-panel still showing drupal database but showing as 0Mb. If I try to log-in to MySQL Admin this also fails.

If I try to log-in to MySQL Admin this also fails.

Same thing if you try cPanel --> PHPMyAdmin?

Make sure you added int.fris.x10hosting.com to Remote Hosts. Typos sometimes creep in.

Have sorted some of the MySQL problems - was a password / access issue. Cpanel still shows 0MB and trying to access database through phpMyAdmin is just timing out.

Have managed to get home page back working but none of the links work - all give Internal Server error 500

I will try to ace this question and make sure it is not your fault. I hope you love the answer.

First, cPanel is notorious for not showing the right numbers. ie, iI wouldn't worry.

Second, make sure any .php files have permission 0644 or 0755. 0666 and 0777 will cause 500 errors.

Third, if the permissions are right, check any .htaccess. Make sure you have the line

RewriteBase /

in the file above any lines that start

RewriteRule

Thanks for last reply

nearly all the php files had permission 777 - have changed this. Also uncommented rewrite base/ in .htaccess

Now I get a completely blank screen on home page
