Hi I'm new and inexperienced, so please forgive me if I've done something wrong.

I was trying to install a small CGI program to my site which is called PaintBBS -- I've translated the software and everything into English -- and it does require changing the CHMOD of some of the files for it to work. I just read that nothing can be set to 777, so I changed the only folder that was that to 755.

I'm still getting the error message which says:
Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@dreamingtime.x10hosting.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Help ... it is absolutely not my intention to violate the TOS or anything like that at all, but I do really hope that I could get this work.

Thank you very, very much!

Daydreamer

P.S. -- please see my index2.html page for the error message. Thanks!

Please login to your AMP and upgrade your PHP version to "Intermediate".
After your PHP version is upgraded (it will take some hours for the PHP version to update), check if your script works correctly.

Hi
Thank you SO much for your reply! :)

I'll give it a try and report in :)

Thanks again,

Daydreamer

Edit: I just applied and it's pending review. Thanks! :)
Edit:
An update...

I got two email updates which informed me that everything is set. But the page still says Internal Server Error. I'd really appreciate it if someone could take a look at this.

Thank you,

Daydreamer
