Hello there,

i have searched all over this site as well as other sites for a solution to my problem, tried changing CHMOD, htaccess file and so on, with no success, really no idea whats wrong, but cant install any new stuff, had a joomlaboard installed, which worked fine, until yesterday people couldnt post any new threads anymore - Internal Server error. Tried deinstalling it, that worked, but cant install anything anymore. Either I am missing a folder / file to change the CHMOD or something is just wierd.

If you got any advice for me or if you can change it in the backend / ftp / cpanel, I would be most grateful.

Kate

go to your cpanel and check your error log and post the error u found here.

if u can find a somewhat like soft execution error then most probably error with chmod.

for joomla some scripts to be set at chmod 755 or 644 .pls have a try.and post back here.
also post the link where the error is found.

Upgrade your php to level 2 intermediate. This upgrade may take several hours to go into effect but that should solve your issue. Also make sure you have your permissions chmod to 755.

Please log into your account management panel (not cPanel) and there will be a section that you can upgrade your php.
