Ioncube Loader (Need to enable some PHP options)

There is a problem using one of the joomla components:

Site error: the file /home/wkamui/public_html/administrator/components/com_resource/library/helpers/subtmpls.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be installed by the site administrator.

The Loader was not installed. Check with your host or system administrator that enable_dl in your php configuration is turned on and that safe_mode is turned off. [/FONT]


Can you please change one of two options in my PHP ini :

Option 1: - Edit /usr/local/PHP_Zend_v2/etc/php.ini and add the lines :

zend_extension= /home/wkamui/public_html/ioncube/ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so

Option 2: Enable dynamic_load support - Edit /usr/local/PHP_Zend_v2/etc/php.ini and define:

enable_dl = On

Sorry. I missed this thread earlier.

This is unofficial support and staff are unlikely to respond to this. You are advised to open a ticket on this subject - although, and I must admit I can't remember fully, I think the ioncube "problem" came up before and as a host it was decided that it wouldn't be supported.
