You don't need to transfer anything.

Just point the domain to the x10 nameservers and everything should work.

I found this on google: http://transferdomains.co.uk/index.php?cat=26

IPS tags are what is required to transfer domains. You cannot transfer your domain to x10hosting, only point it. You could transfer the domain to another domain place and THEn set the nameservers to x10hosting. I think that would work.

First of all I did read this post and I was telling you how to transfer, just incase if you didn't know the link. To obtain IPS tag the domain registrar must provide it to you. I can see why they won't give you the tag, but I suggest you try their support department to give you the transfer tag..

Here is what the ICCAN says to do:

My registrar won't let me transfer my domain, what do I do?

If you're having trouble transferring your domain from one registrar to another, you should contact the registrar you want to transfer to for assistance. If your preferred registrar is having any trouble processing your transfer, your registrar can obtain assistance from ICANN or the registry operator as appropriate.

Registrars are not permitted to deny transfer requests arbitrarily. ICANN has no policy that permits or requires registrars to deny outgoing transfer requests solely because the registration is within X number of days before expiration. In any case where a "losing" registrar does deny a transfer request, it is required to provide the "gaining" registrar with a notice of the denial and a specific reason for the denial.

For your reference, the "Policy on Transfer of Sponsorship of Registrations Between Registrars" is set forth in Exhibit B to the Registry-Registrar Agreement. For details on updates to ICANN's transfer policies, please refer to <http://www.icann.org/transfers/>.

Derek, the problem is he's trying to transfer the domain to x10hosting, which isn't a domain registrar. That's why transferring the domain to x10 won't work in this case - we aren't a registrar, so he can't transfer to us, only point it.

You must not have read my post, I am sure x10 hosts domains, that is why x10rewards domains are owned by x10, also, when purchasing paid hosting you have an option of purchasing a domain which is owned by x10, if you had read my post, I linked him to the premium hosting section https://clients.x10hosting.com/cart.php?a=add&domain=register that is the place where it handles premium domain names, there is a transfer option there. x10 uses eNom for domain services, so if a domain gets transfered it should get put into x10's account.. I know what I have typed is how it is, there is no way x10 can sell domains without offering domain services..

My bad, I did read the post but I hadn't remembered there being a way to transfer to x10hosting's control before.
