Well I mostly use the EFnet, Freenode, Undernet servers...mostly visit support forums like Ubuntu, Fedora...etc

I use to run my own IRCd, but had to close it due to lack of finances. *laughs*

I may just do that. Have to wait till I get my other computer out of storage and set up again.
