is dolphin v6.1 any good as a dating website script?

hi, i am setting up a dating community wbsite and have been looking into the dolphin script. it seems to offer just about everything i need for my site, however template modificatipon is a bit of a headache. does anyone know of any decent php tutorials for template modding? also if anyone has any other scripts that they recommend i would be grateful. thanks, Will
