Is it possible to change domain name without signing up for another account?

Hi, is it possible to change domain eg. abcde.x10hosting.com to bbc.x10hosting.com without signing up for another account? Also, is it possible then to redirect the old domain to the new domain? I've tried using the add domain function in my Cpanel but it doesn't work.

to add a domain you need to have a domain by example at co.cc (free)

and i don t think they do what you ask without deleting and signing up again but only staff can answer that question i think

Yes you can change your domain. You can do this from the Account Management Panel at http://x10hosting.com/login.php

Without thinking too much about it myself, I think the redirect should be do-able using Redirects or similar in cPanel.

But I can't think how just now, if your old domain name is deleted when you create a new name. :dunno:

I assume one could just add the old domain name as an add-on domain in cPanel, & point it at the new domain?
