Is Server down?

Help! I am new to this hosting service but just started uploading files today. Everything seemed fine and then all of a sudden, I can't get into public_html. What's going on>

The servers sometimes get high server loads, which can cause the server to be unusable for a few minutes.. Just wait a few minutes and try again

Well it's been over 3 hours and I can't get into anything. Very frustrating.

I also tried connecting to my cpanel url http://chopin.x10hosting.com:2082/ and get "Failure to Connect".

It could be your DNS..

I don't know what to do. If it is my DNS, why was it working fine before that? And why has my site suddenly disappeared?

I just tried that on both Firefox and IE and couldn't connect. I ran a diagnostic on IE and got:

• The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable.
• The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website's domain.
• If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click Tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section.

Note that my website is called pvdsenatejrs.com.

Any other suggestions?

That is quite interesting, as it loads fine for me.. You could be blocked by the server, or your ISP could be blocking the server.. Can you try OpenDNS?

Not sure what that is.

I can ftp to other domains that I maintain just fine.
