I'm trying to install Round Cube Webmail (http://roundcube.net/) on my account.

The first step of the installer checks a few server settings to make sure round cube can operate on it. There was only one problem:

magic_quotes_gpc: NOT OK(is '1', should be '0')

I guess magic_quotes_gpc is supposed to be disabled? I have intermediate php config which says magic_quotes_gpc is enabled. How can I have magic_quotes_gpc disabled?

There was also one more error (it's not a necessary one but it's recommended):

The next couple of extensions are optional but recommended to get the best performance:
FileInfo: NOT AVAILABLE(See http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.fileinfo.php)

Any way I can resolve that one too?

Well, they aren't very technically advanced, I want them to be able to access it from something like mail.mydomain.com

And I also need a better GUI, Horde and SquirrelMail have very dull and boring GUI's.
