i intend to buy a new assembled pc for myself, so i made out one on my own as per my budget just randomly picking up the hardware and putting them, i wanted to know will it work or not ?

What I Intend to Buy
Processor : AMD Athlon 64X2 5200+
Motherboard : Asu M2N-HXSE Plus
Memory : Corsair XMS2 TWIN2X2048-6400 ( 1 X 2 GB )
Monitor : ViewSonic VA503M
Hard Drive : Seagate ST3500320AS
PC Case : iBall Baby 306
Optical Drive : LG GSA-H55N
Key Board Mouse Combo : Microsoft Desktop 500
Speakers : Logitech X-210
Graphics Card : Sapphire Radeon HD 4356

i consulted mainly CHIP INDIA Magazine.

Looks pretty good. Just as long as the motherboard will accept the processor, RAM and cards you're going to install it'll work for the most part.

i think the motherboard should accept the processor and the graphics card, since they belong to the company and RAM it will be able since i read in the magazine that the processor can take can up to 8 GB or 4 GB of RAM.

I would go with one of the Biostar T Force boards. Or at least the MCP6P-M2. The Asus boards are unreliable and I've seen tons of people on OCN talk about how they had to RMA them.

You should also get the 5400+ Black Edition. It's a way better processor.

Never had any issue with *MY* Asus, ... wow i just figured it's almost 5 yrs old now. can't beleive i'm using a 5 yr pc. :p

I think it's worth an extra $20 to have the vender install the cpu and fan for you, just to save you the trouble.

i just made the configuration randomly so it could fit into my budget and i would also get the best. i consulted many ppl and have got good reviews for the Asus motherboards.

I used to be a ViewSonic only purchaser, but recently tried LG, and both my wife and myself love our LG's. The only thing I would change is the non-adjustable base (stand).
