Hi Admin - I'm facing two issues with the email service. I appreciate your help.

1. I can't receive emails. Here is the error message:
Remote-MTA: dns; mail.wimsightlabs.com Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 550 No such recipient here

I checked the DNS record and can't find the issue. Is there a documentation I can access to address the issue? Do you have any suggestions?

2. I'm able to send emails, but on the receiver side it triggers a warning message: This email has failed its domain's authentication requirements. It may be spoofed or improperly forwarded.

I understand I must have made one or multiple mistakes in the way I set up the DNS, but this is above my knowledge.

Server: X13
User Name: osiobxbc

Thank you for your assistance.

Best,

C.

1. Have you tried deleting the mailbox and then creating it again?

2. This would seem to be a problem in the SPF record. Please add ip4:198.91.80.251 to your SPF record.

Can you re-attempt this and let us know if the issue is resolved?

Issue 1 is now resolved. Thank you.

Do you mind sharing the root cause? Was it a server side issue or a mistake on my side?

This was an issue on the server side not honoring the ownership of the email accounts. We resolved it with a patch and should be fixed going forward!

The issue is not resolved for me.
I have no incoming mail. They fail with the message: "550 authentication required"

Edit more detailed:

<info@cronos-electronics.gr>: host mail.cronos-electronics.gr[198.91.81.13]
said: 550 authentication required (in reply to RCPT TO command)

Please check the following in the hosting control panel:

E-mail Manager > MX Records

Make sure the box that says “Use this server to handle my e-mails. If not, change the MX records and uncheck this option.” is checked. If it isn’t, check the box and click save.

When I used this option in the past, the sender received no failure message while still there was no reception of the mail. So I had it unchecked for the senders to have some notification that we haven't received their messages.
Now it somehow solved the issue and I received my test message!

Thank you!

That checkbox should always be checked, if you’re going to be using the x10 server to handle emails for your domain
