OK, I've got a site setup for my classic gaming podcast. That got hit the worst during the migration but not it's alllll good. My personal site was fine through the migration and only down 1 day. Not that I'm trying to log in and post something to my personal blog, I can't get any further than my WP-Admin page. It just loads to a blank page. For those gurus out there, is it a good idea to download the newest version, FTP it up and then run the upgrade package to fix the MySQL links to the site?

There may be issues with SQL/PHP right now on the new servers as everything is being setup after the migration.

10,000 accounts total left to transfer. While Chopin, Lotus, and Starka are done and should run somewhat smoothly there is still a massive amount of work we have to do once the migrations are complete to make sure they do run properly.

And yes, its usually a good idea to upgrade to the latest version of Wordpress. Wordpress has a built in upgrade utility that does not require FTP.

By the way, what do you mean MySQL links to the site?

I was referring to how WP makes MySQL calls to the database. The form submission is clearly having issues. Maybe not able to connect to the tables or something. My database skills aren't as good I want them to be so I may be talking out of my butt. ;) Point is that I'm just getting a blank page after logging in/hitting submit.

Your MySQL calls and configuration is probably correct if it was correct prior to the migrations.

The blank page is most likely related to server configuration after the moves, causing random services to go on and off.

Try to be patient until Corey announces everything is done and running smoothly, which should be at the end of the week if nothing goes wrong.
