"It appears that we are having some slight difficulties"

I log in to my free hosting account and get the page saying I have logged in successfully and will be redirected.
The next page says "It appears that we are having some slight difficulties, please wait and try your request again (random error code which is different each time)"
A friend is able to log in from a different IP to the same account without seeing this error.
If she logs out, I am still unable to log in - I thought there might be an issue with logging in from multiple locations but that has not solved it.

Any suggestions for fixing this?

This is likely related to ongoing maintenance on the server(s). Please be patient. I'd recommend trying again tomorrow, and if that fails then we will look into it further.
