Jetpack update problem

I am unable to update jetpack. It says:

Warning: touch(): Unable to create file /tmp/jetpack.tmp because No such file or directory in /home/ankurx12/public_html/wp-admin/includes/file.php on line 179
Warning: unlink(/tmp/jetpack.tmp): Operation not permitted in /home/ankurx12/public_html/wp-admin/includes/file.php on line 503
An error occurred while updating Jetpack by WordPress.com: Download failed. Could not open handle for fopen() to /tmp/jetpack.tmp.

Any clues. Thanks in advance.

Try deactivating and deleting Jetpack and then reinstall it.
