I've done a test installation of Joomla 1.5 to get a feel of how to use it. So far, I've been able to apply SEO friendly urls. The frontpage looks just fine, but when I go to any of the other pages, the css (and any images) appears to be broken. Does anyone have any idea of what is causing this?

Does the problem actually persist if you deactivate the SEO mod again? I would guess that the reference to the CSS and image files are all relative, meaning that if the url has been changed then the reference is now pointing to the wrong place.

That makes sense. Because it does go back to normal when I deactivate SEO. Is there a way to fix this?

I'm not really sure with Joomla, basically the issue will reside wherever the reference to the CSS file is located in the theme file. Set that to a url with a / at the beginning to indicate where the CSS file is in relation to the URL root, rather than the current file.
