Joomla files unwritable after instalation

Hi guys, i have just installed joomla via fantastico
now i cannot change anything on my site because the files are unwitable
what causes this and what should i do ?

Please check your file permissions and set it appropriately (CHMOD your files)

as tittat says you should go to your file manager in cpanel and change the files permision to writable or CHMOD file to 644 or 777
