Joomla Migration to 1.6

I am trying to upgrade Joomla 1.5.22 to 1.6 with jUpgrade. It looks like jUpgrade needs cUrl to do this. Can this be done on my account.

I need to know if cUrl is enabled on the free hosting account so I don't waste any more time trying to use jUpgrade to migrate from Joomla 1.5.22 to 1.6.1 .
