Hey, I remember x10hosting used to have Joomla CMS in Softaculous?
But it isn't there anymore, what happened to it? It takes forever for me to upload Joomla

cPanel .... Softaculous (in Software/Services) ... Joomla is second item in Portals/CMS (the second group)

Not there on Boru?

no its not there. There are only two scripts under CMS, and there are Zikula and Geeklog

No Wordpress under "Blogs" either? Maybe only around 60 scripts total instead of 110+ ?

If so, sounds like the free version of Softaculous.

Joomla can be installed into our Cpanel... Google Joomla and u will find abt it

It's not that difficult to install Joomla manually. Just download it from joomla.org, unzip it, and upload all the files. Create the mysql database and user in cpanel, and then just run install.php from the joomla root directory.

Then why offer Softaculous at all?

If the new server boru has a stripped down version of Softaculous, maybe the Admins should explain why.
