Just a question

I know that the servers have been experiencing a lot of downtime recently. I'm not complaining, I just wanted to comment on something that interested me.
Why is it that no matter where our files are on the many new servers, and no matter whether our site is up or not, FTP always seems to work?

its becouse the ftp conects to a ip (the server) and isnt the same as http :S

i aim sure if you wil use webmail that it doesnt works only whit a program like filezilla

becoues now to i can acces it whit ftp and probaly i can delete every file (dont know and i dont goin try it out :naughty: ) its a securty that they set on the websites to prevent acces to the website when they are moving it (i think ) but they cant shutdown ftp ^^ becouse then they cant copy anymore (if they do remote copy lol )

srry i never learned english i got it all from games
it is not that bad is it

and normal i speak dutch :S
